The Role at NFP

Our growing Mid-Market Commercial Team is seeking to hire a Team-Lead who will work towards creating a trusting People First environment on an award-winning team by building trust & strong relationships for our Edmonton, Alberta office. The Team Lead will focus on process efficiency and promote higher standards of quality with a strong emphasis on quality/performance, mentoring, and training of the team members.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the assignment of daily activities and performance of the team
  • Identify employee training and development needs and coordinate employee goals/objectives with key management stakeholders
  • Provide directional and technical guidance on process and procedures
  • Foster a workplace of continuous improvement by listening and making recommendations to improve the client experience (internal and external)
  • Develop team through motivation, coaching and a supportive environment
  • Complete regular performance reviews

 

What you Bring

  • Level 2 Alberta License in good standing is required
  • Typically, 5 years of experience in the P&C Industry
  • Managerial courage and delegation skills; effectively prioritize, manage and lead within scope of authority and escalate decisions appropriately
  • Ethical, innovative, tolerant and resilient with collaborative problem-solving ability
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating business intelligence
  • Positive and passionate attitude towards customer satisfaction and business achievements
  • Sound organizational time management and achievement orientation
  • Solid working knowledge of computer operating systems including industry software such as EPIC
