Job Duration: Full-Time, Permanent / Travel will be required to attend tradeshows and networking events

 

About the Role

The Leisure Client Executive is responsible for developing and retaining a profitable portfolio of marine and watercraft, RV & trailers, and classic car clients. This role requires a licensed RIBO professional who is passionate about specialty risks, has strong production experience, and demonstrates the ability to successfully round out accounts across multiple lines of business. The Client Executive will also support sub-brokers in growing specialty business and have the capability to place risks across different provinces.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Business Development
    • Prospect and secure new leisure accounts through community engagement, marina/dealer partnerships, and referrals.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve new business growth targets.
    • Attend leisure specialty events, shows, and community activities to represent and build the NFP brand.
    • Support sub-brokers with expertise, guidance, and market access to help expand leisure product offering.
    • Place and manage leisure business across multiple provinces in alignment with licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Account Rounding & Market Relationships
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional products such as home, auto, umbrella, and other specialty coverages.
    • Convert monoline clients into multi-line accounts to improve retention and profitability.
    • Develop strong working relationships with leisure-friendly carriers and wholesalers.
    • Negotiate coverage and pricing to meet client needs.
  • Compliance and Administration
    • Accurately process new business applications within established timelines.
    • Maintain up-to-date and complete new client files in Epic and Salesforce systems.
    • Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and company policies during new business onboarding.

 

What You Bring

  • RIBO Level 2 License (mandatory) or willing to obtain within 6 months. Additional provincial licensing would be an asset
  • Demonstrated success in producing new business in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of leisure products and other insurance products.
  • Proven ability to round out accounts across multiple lines of business.
  • Experience supporting sub-brokers and leveraging carrier relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Epic and Salesforce systems
  • Active enthusiast with hands-on experience in watercraft, RVs, and classic cars would be considered an asset
  • Established relationships with marinas, dealerships, and leisure lifestyle communities would be considered an asset
  • Experience with higher-value specialty markets would be considered an asset
  • Ability to place specialty risks across different provinces would be considered an asset
