AVP, Integration Management Office (Financial)

As the AVP, IMO at NFP, you will play a crucial role in integrating newly acquired firms into NFP. You will manage multiple financial conversion projects simultaneously and provide strategic guidance on corporate financial operations initiatives. The AVP, IMO will report directly to the SVP, M&A and will directly manage a staff of financial analysts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Conversion Tasks: Design and manage financial discovery, data hygiene, transaction import, and validation 
  • Integration Plan: Oversee milestones and progress 
  • Standards and Best Practices: Promote improved methods and best practices 
  • Quality Control: Provide insight into each conversion stage gate and quality control tracking 
  • Issue Escalation: Govern financial issue escalation, risk mitigation, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) 
  • Team Management: Manage a team of financial analysts, prioritize workload, and plan 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Integration Management team members and integrating firm leadership 
  • Partnership: Partner with NFP financial leadership on strategic projects 
  • Field Office Processes: Understand existing processes such as new product sales, account management, and commissions tracking 
  • Implementation Plan: Craft and support execution of implementation plans for new processes and system rollouts 
  • Corporate Objectives: Tie to overarching corporate objectives and KPIs 

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a financial lead, project manager, or similar role
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle numerous duties and manage multiple projects 
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships and work with various teams 
  • Initiative: Strong personal initiative and ability to execute with minimal oversight 
  • Communication: Professional presentation and communication skills 
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert in Microsoft Office suite

Education and Business Experience:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Industry Experience: Insurance, brokerage, or MGA/MGU experience 
  • Systems Familiarity: Familiarity with Applied Epic and other agency management systems 
  • Project Management: End-to-end project management experience 
  • System Implementations: Prior involvement with large organization’s system implementations

The base salary range for this position is $112,000 – $140,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
