Wage Transparency: 75-150k Base + Commission
About the Role
We’re looking for an Client Executive/Producer to join our award-winning Business Insurance division for our Western Canadian clients. The successful applicant will leverage their industry knowledge & experience to initiate and develop new commercial lines relationships for Mid-Market Business.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and build relationships with quality commercial lines business leads via referrals and other prospecting techniques
- Develop submissions (in conjunction with commercial lines underwriting staff) to markets that will meet present/emerging needs of the client and close the sale
- Quote between 1-5 mid to large prospects per month, or as needed to meet production plan following all quality control and underwriting procedures established by NFP
- Hand-off responsibility for provision of service to clients to the relevant Account Manager in the service teams
- When appropriate to the maintenance of good customer service, field customer service requests (especially post-sale of one’s clients), and ensure the completion by oneself, or by referral to the service Account Manager
What You Bring
- Valid Insurance License (multiple provincial licenses are a plus)
- Typically, 3+ years of commercial lines insurance sales experience
- Knowledge of risks associated with Mid-Market business (Large construction, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Self-Motivated with a passion for sales & committed to delivering a top-notch client experience
- Self-managing with strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills with attention to the details
- Confident, poised and interactive – when client-facing communicates effectively, demonstrates emotional intelligence, and understands how to tailor responses in a variety of dynamic situations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player with the ability to adapt to and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Proven technical competency and creativity demonstrating excellence in developing and delivering innovative property and casualty solutions
- Excellent computer skills expected and EPIC fluency an asset
