  • Lead the documentation of business requirements and articulate end-to-end functional process design for enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership on system capabilities, including a clear understanding of delivered functionality and configuration limitations.
  • Partner with Corporate IT and external vendors on integrations, defining functional requirements and leading testing validation.

Lead Release Management, Testing & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain awareness of Workday’s product roadmap and upcoming releases; assess impact to current configuration and proactively plan enhancements.
  • Own release governance including regression testing, unit testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pre-launch validation.
  • Create and execute detailed test scripts across development and production environments.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation and system optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with scalability and operational excellence.

Design Advanced Reporting & Workforce Analytics

  • Build and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports that support executive decision-making, workforce planning, compensation cycles, compliance reporting, and operational metrics.
  • Develop advanced calculated fields and custom reporting solutions.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy through routine audits and validation controls.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define dashboard needs and enable self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.

Establish Security & Data Governance Standards

  • Own Workday security configuration, role-based access controls, and periodic security audits.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards (PII, GDPR, SOX as applicable).
  • Maintain strong data governance protocols including routine data audits and quality assurance reviews.
  • Serve as an escalation point for system issues while exercising discretion with highly confidential employee information.

Support HR Operations & Employee Experience

  • Enable compensation cycles, open enrollment, organizational changes, and global workforce transactions within Workday.
  • Support mass data processing activities (EIB loads, restructures, large-scale updates).
  • Develop SOPs, documentation, FAQs, and quick reference guides to support user adoption.
  • Provide training and change management support when rolling out new functionality.
  • Foster a customer-centric mindset by delivering timely, accurate system support.

Qualifications:
