Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant

We’re hiring for a Sales Ledger Account Assistant to support our growing Finance team!

To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team. As one of our Sales Ledger Accounts Assistants, you’ll be supporting the Sales Ledger Finance Manager to complete the accounting practices for the incoming re for the NFP UK Holdings group of companies.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues across the business, via email and face-to-face
  • Excellent organisation who manages their time effectively and is also able to manage the expectation of stakeholders
  • Attention to detail – ensuring work is checked thoroughly and can pick up on small errors
  • Accounting experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • Experience with Workday is preferred but not essential

Using these skills, you’ll be:

  • Reviewing bank statements daily, allocating fee receipts to the appropriate invoice and ensuring bank entries are reconciled by month end.
  • Monitoring the Group E-mail inbox and responding to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Client Invoicing – ensuring sales invoices are raised and issued as required for the relevant business entities
  • Regularly reviewing Aged Debtors and ensuring credit control procedures are followed
  • Liaising with the Sales Team Consultants regarding significantly outstanding debts to identify potential actions/provisions required
  • Budgeting/forecasting – working with the wider finance team to help build the annual budgets and reforecast as required throughout the year
  • Assisting in the completion of audit requests as required
  • Supporting the wider finance team in the preparation of month end reporting documents as required
  • Supporting with transformation activity across the group in order to improve and streamline finance processes
  • Supporting with ad-hoc finance projects as required
