Position Summary:

The Sales Support position is an integral part of our team.  The role is central within the organization and is responsible for supporting our salespeople and for producing high quality materials consistent with company branding and formatting.

The individual in this position will participate in company-wide projects that involve working with different teams.  This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute meaningfully to a growing business and gain valuable experience.

The position is hybrid.  During the first three months of employment, the individual will be expected to be in the office up to three days a week for training.  After the initial three-month period, their schedule will be determined based on their manager’s discretion. 

Position Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with insurance carrier contacts
  • Manage pre-sale quoting and preparation of presentations for sales team
  • Support sales team by providing recommendations, answering questions and researching options
  • Update client/sales PowerPoint presentations
  • Compile and coordinate prospective client and marketing research
  • Create marketing materials
  • Research/Update/Develop statistics for presentations and enrollment materials
  • Prospect research (D&B, miedge/Zwayve, SPD search)
  • Create and maintain enrollment communications templates

Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
  • A team-oriented, friendly collaborative attitude
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of HTML/SQL is a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
  • An active insurance license (Life and Health, LTC Certificate) or availability to obtain a license within three months.
  • When working from home, you must maintain a private workspace to secure company equipment and correspondence; maintain high-speed internet, be present and responsive online and minimize personal interruptions during your work shift

 Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CLU, ChFC Designation is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $88,000 – $125,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
