About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Partnership Development Advisor to support Wealthspire’s M&A growth initiatives and the expansion of Fiducient’s Financial Institutions and Investment Research business. In this role, you will identify, assess, and engage potential acquisition and partnership targets while driving the distribution of Fiducient’s investment research capabilities to prospective partners.
The ideal candidate will combine strong research, pipeline management, and relationship-building skills with a deep understanding of business strategy. You will play a key role in helping our leadership team grow the firm’s footprint through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships across the financial services landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Identification: Research and map potential acquisition, partnership, and investment research distribution opportunities that align with Fiducient’s growth objectives and market strategy.
- Outreach & Engagement: Initiate and manage contact with executives and key stakeholders at target firms to explore partnership, acquisition, or research sales opportunities.
- Business Development: Present Fiducient’s investment research capabilities to prospective institutional partners, supporting the firm’s Financial Institutions business development goals.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging firms to proactively identify new opportunities for acquisition, partnership, or collaboration.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and current pipeline of opportunities within the CRM or deal-tracking system, ensuring timely updates and data accuracy.
- Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with Fiducient’s Financial Institutions and Corporate Development teams to coordinate outreach, co-marketing, and relationship strategies.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry players, investment firms, and advisors to enhance visibility, brand presence, and deal flow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or institutional sales.
- Understanding of investment research, asset management, or financial advisory services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and credibly.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, PitchBook, Capital IQ, or similar).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting M&A sourcing or strategic partnerships in the financial services industry.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Willingness to travel to conferences and industry events to represent Fiducient externally
What We Offer:
We’re proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $83,000 to $132,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
