NFP Corp. is seeking a Validation Processor.
The Validation Processor reports to the Team Lead, Reconciliation. They are responsible for validating billing in the system to insurance carriers’ invoices and statements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the daily operations of the insurance payable department and the reconciliation department
· Reconcile carrier statement (monthly) or individual carrier invoices (daily) against EPIC invoicing created in respective regions
· Research discrepancies and partner with region account manager (created EPIC invoice) and or carrier to determine corrective action needed
· Develop relationship with carrier contacts to ensure open communication and joint resolution process as issues arise
· Work with carriers and regional accounting personnel to resolve payable issues while maintaining effective working relationships
· Work various special projects and reconciliation
· Utilize NFP systems
· Participate with internal and audit requests

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
· Ability to accomplish goals while meeting deadlines
· Possess good analytical skills, problem solving skills, and good communication skills, both verbal and written
· Attention to detail
· Strong work ethic
Education and/or Experience:
· 2-3 years insurance experience strongly preferred
· High school diploma required; some college preferred
· Must be able to manage projects efficiently and effectively, as well as meet set deadlines
· Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and be able to adapt to/understand various accounting systems
· Steady work experience

The base salary range for this position is $36,000 – $41,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
