This individual will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams—including product, analytics, clinical, and client services to ensure that project goals are met on time and within scope. A key component of the role is gathering and documenting business requirements to help define project objectives and drive successful outcomes in a pharmacy benefit consulting environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
1. Support cross-functional project execution across technical (e.g., data integrations, platform enhancements, tool improvements) and non-technical (e.g., workflows, process improvements, new product launches) initiatives within the pharmacy benefit consulting space.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders—including product, analytics, clinical, and client services—to gather, document, and refine business requirements that align with business needs and regulatory expectations.
3. Create and maintain project artifacts such as timelines, status trackers, and deliverables using tools like Smartsheet, Azure Boards, or Monday.com in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
4. Assist in risk identification and mitigation, working closely with senior project leads to proactively address blockers and dependencies.
5. Track project milestones and performance metrics, providing regular updates to internal leadership and other stakeholders.
6. Coordinate with vendors, developers, data analysts, and client-facing teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of deliverables.
7. Facilitate meetings and working sessions, including agenda prep, note-taking, and follow-up on action items.
8. Support change management and training efforts, especially during system rollouts or process transitions.
9. Contribute to project budgeting and resource planning, including tracking hours, forecasting needs, and supporting SOW development.
10. Prepare stakeholder communications, such as executive summaries, dashboards, and client-ready status reports.
11. Maintain project documentation in shared repositories, ensuring version control and audit readiness.
12. Participate in project intake and scoping processes, helping evaluate feasibility, resource needs, and alignment with strategic goals.
13. Support post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements for Education, Experience, and Certifications/Licenses:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, technical solutions, or consulting environments is preferred.
• Comfort working with both technical teams (e.g., developers, analysts) and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., clinical staff, clients).
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday, Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Exposure to pharmacy benefits or healthcare consulting is a plus.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. High degree of professionalism.
2. Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills and command of the English language
4. High degree of organizational and decision-making skills.
5. High degree of initiative and passion to succeed.
6. High degree of attention to detail.
7. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
8. Proficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
9. Ability to comply with company confidentiality requirements.
10. Experience gathering and translating business requirements into actionable project plans.
