This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.

Summary

Our 10-week Summer Internship Program is designed to offer students a challenging, meaningful, and supportive experience that mirrors the responsibilities and opportunities of a full-time employee. The program begins with an orientation that provides a comprehensive overview of the firm, along with the chance to learn directly from senior leaders. Following an in-depth two-week training period, the Human Resources intern will engage in impactful projects that support key HR initiatives, offering exposure to various HR functions and providing hands-on experience. Throughout the program, interns will also participate in challenges, mentoring sessions, and networking events. At Wealthspire, we are deeply committed to our Summer Internship Program, as it plays a key role in developing future talent and fostering a strong pipeline for our HR team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR periodic reports and track key metrics. Analyze data to create HR presentations.
  • Help maintain the Human Resources Intranet page and prepare communications for posting.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with the annual review of job descriptions.
  • Support training and development initiatives for employees.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the HR department.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.

  • High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education and/or Experience

  • Rising senior of a four-year university preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, or co-op experience.

    The hourly range for this position is $18.00 – $25.00. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
