Summary: 

The Business Analyst supports operational delivery, marketing support, learning and development and project management of health and benefits programs. This role ensures efficient processes, high quality client service, and strong internal coordination while supporting strategic initiatives that enhance the value and visibility of the benefits function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Supports day-to-day operations of health and benefits programs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Offers actionable insights along with the operational performance metrics that help leaders assess and implement improvements to drive efficiency/service delivery.
  • Partners with internal teams (e.g., compliance, finance, client service, marketing, technology) to resolve issues and maintain seamless delivery.
  • Ensures data integrity across systems, reporting tools, and client deliverables.

Marketing & Communications:

  • Collaborates with marketing team to develop materials that promote benefit offerings, capabilities, and value propositions.
  • Supports creation and maintenance of client-facing content, including presentations, collateral and digital assets.
  • Ensures messaging aligns with brand standards and effectively communicates benefits strategy and services.
  • Assists in developing campaigns or initiatives that enhance client engagement and awareness of benefits programs.
  • Supports management of Health and Benefits Hub and NFP Connect.

Project Management:

  • Manages cross-functional projects related to benefits delivery, technology enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Develops project plans, timelines, and milestones; tracks progress and ensures on-time, high-quality execution.
  • Facilitates stakeholder meetings, manages communications, and escalates risks or issues as needed.
  • Coordinates implementation of new tools, platforms, or services across teams and client groups.
  • Documents lessons learned and applies continuous improvement practices to future initiatives.

Learning and Development:

  • Supports the design, delivery, and maintenance of training programs that strengthen operational excellence across the Health & Benefits practice.
  • Facilitates training sessions for existing team members on operational platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintains a centralized repository of learning content to ensure teams have access to current, accurate operational resources.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous learning by encouraging adoption of new tools, methodologies, and process improvements.
  • Ensures alignment between operational training content and broader organizational learning initiatives, including Benefits University or similar programs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, operations, HR services, or related functions.
  • Strong project management skills; experience with cross-functional initiatives preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to leverage Power BI, Power Automate, Dynamics, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, CoPilot, and OneDrive for collaboration, content management, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with benefits platforms, HRIS systems, and compliance requirements is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $68.000 to $92,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
