Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for working with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts. The position requires day to day client servicing for a specific set of clients and entails a great deal of verbal, electronic and other written communications.  You will manage the renewal and marketing process, and prepare materials for presentations and communications, in collaboration with their more senior team members.  Work is completed with a significant amount of independent discretion.  While in this role, you should be developing relationships with clients and carrier contacts and working proactively to effectively and efficiently deliver services to clients. In addition to managing your own clients, you may also continue to support the Account Management Team as assigned.

You should have P&C experience and an active P&C license, have knowledge and experience in personal lines and high-net-worth/private client group clients.

This is a full-time position, ideally working hybrid from our Dallas, TX office. We will consider a remote option for well-experienced Personal Lines candidates able to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST. When working from home, you must maintain a private workspace to secure company equipment and correspondence; maintain high-speed internet, be present and responsive online and minimize personal interruptions during your work shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works proactively to maintain relationships with carrier and client contacts on an assigned book of business. Take the lead on client meetings for assigned accounts.
  • The Senior Account Manager will have responsibility for managing the renewal and marketing process from start to finish, in conjunction with the Account Executives and Advisors.
  • Communicates directly with clients and carriers, in collaboration with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive.
  • Creates and maintains client files in accordance with office procedures. Responsible for keeping client policy records in the agency management system.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well both in a team environment and autonomously, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
  • Customer-focused to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Intermediate level of experience in agency management system(s). EPIC is highly preferred.
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines with strong time management skills.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions while displaying a team mindset.
  • Possess sharp attention to details, decision-making and problem resolution skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines and technology.
  • Able to work overtime as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years in High-Net-Worth personal insurance service
  • Experience with EPIC or other agency management systems  
  • Must understand and apply the knowledge of high-level and high-touch points in client management 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required along with insurance industry training and license

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

  • P&C Insurance License required upon hire

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
